Kanye West's new album,Dear Utol (2025): Maniac Photographer Episode 26 YE,had its first run. Eventually.
In Jackson Hole, Wyoming, West threw a high profile listening party for his anticipated new release on Thursday, with just friends, including Chris Rock and Jonah Hill, family, and a few journalists invited.

But to the delight of fans, West announced via Twitter that he'd be livestreaming the event. Those keen to join the action were encouraged to tune in via live streaming platform WAV.

Folks tuned in, ready to listen to that brand new album, both hardcore fans and lookie-loos, especially after everything that's happened. Instead, they watched a video of horses in a paddock, and a campfire for a while, many making the same joke.

But eventually, the album came. With YEstreaming worldwide from Wyoming, keen ears from Pitchfork picked up references to Stormy Daniels, #MeToo, Russell Simmons, Wiz Khalifa, North Korea, Tristan Thompson and more within the lyrics.
The album features multiple guest appearances including Kid Cudi, with whom West is releasing a collaborative album under the name Kids See Ghosts, Ty Dolla $ign, Frank Ocean, and Nicki Minaj (well, a voice message from Minaj).

Pitchfork picked up that in the fourth track, West addresses his comments about slavery being a "choice," in thatTMZ chat.
The livestream is done, and the album isn't yet appearing on streaming services, but multiple sources are reporting that the album will be guaranteed to people who've bought Wyoming merch on Kanye's site. Mashablehas reached out to the online store's team to confirm this.
West is also apparently producing Nas' new album, out June 15, and Teyana Taylor's new release out June 22.
It's been a busy year so far.
